This model is not only an eye-catcher, but also eco-friendly, energy-saving and amazingly durable. Its optical lens focuses the beam so that the circle of light looks as if drawn with a pair of compasses. Hollywood comes with practical multifunctional energy system (MES, patent pending). The lamp use an electronic transformer and a high-grade steel battery box, so that the lamp can either be run off the mains or used as portable lamp – whether in bed, in your garden, in a tent or while travelling.

This lamp has really great features, and there are some of them:

design living-room lamp with battery and mains connection

360º swivelling lamp head adjustable to any position

low power consumption of 1.2 W and long service life of LED (100,000h) reduce energy costs

razor-sharp circle of light is reminiscent of searchlights or theatre spots

elegant high-grade steel battery box allows for outdoor applications

versatile uses without mains incl. 220 V 400mA transformer, mains connection & battery box

Rechargeable LED lamps are fantastic to have around the house because they give off soft light just like candles, but you can leave them anywhere you like without worrying about burning the place down.

Candela LED lamps equally useful on the dinner table or bedside. Patented, intelligent circuitry makes them illuminate automatically when lifted from the charging platter, and start to recharge as soon as they’re put back. They also turn on automatically during power failures so you always have an emergency light source within easy reach.

A set of four rechargeable lights replaces hundreds of dollars worth of wax candles, and they’re cleaner, more durable, and easier to use. Vessel’s SafeChargeâ„¢ induction system eliminates exposed electrical contacts, and each light is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate. Long-life warm-white LEDs provide the light source. When the batteries eventually start to lose their charge memory, they’re easily replaced to ensure years and years of light.
Configurable in any number of arrangements, TwistTogethers are interactive objects to boot. Stacked between shelves (like glowing cinder blocks) they integrate lighting into furniture, making for an updated version of the college bookshelf or they can form right angles to wrap around corners and tabletop edges. They’re available in candy colors for a more pop feel or a “chocolate” palate that lends a 50s-era look. A set of four runs $399 or six are $585.
With and all-metal design and a total weight of 50kg, the LED Lamp does not fail to impress in this respect. All parts are custom-machined from solid aluminum, with the exception of steel rotating joints, gas springs, chrome tubing, and steel screws.

In its most compact position, the structure is dimensioned at 30 cm (12 inches) in width, 58 cm (23 inches) in height, and 69 cm (27 inches) in depth. When fully extended, it can reach up to 91 cm (36 inches) in width having both shades opened to form a 180o angle between them; 114 cm (45 inches) in height when shades are facing the viewer or wall; and 89 cm (35 inches) in depth, extending 46 cm (18 inches) beyond the front of the base. These positions follow the range of possible use cases, including overhead lighting of a desk-space environment, and wall projection for ambient information displays or light projection for sound response.

Overall, the design is intended to create a well-rounded and compact feeling, projecting robustness, while allowing reasonable maneuvering, and portraying mechanical intricacies, while not including extraneous, non-functional design items.

The BalloonLamp is based on the Japanese Chochin; a portable lamp which was illuminated by candlelight, from the EDO period. Designer/musician Kouichi Okamoto has updated this lamp by replacing the candle with a LED and the paper lantern with a standard rubber balloon. Since the LED light source does not generate any heat the balloon is safe from being damaged or melted.

The balloon also makes a great diffuser for the bright LED. The BalloonLamp is very portable and can be used indoors or outdoors for decorating, camping or backyard parties. It can be deflated after use and easily stored.

San Francisco: Greenlight Concepts has raised the bar on what it means to be brilliant: All over the US, cities are replacing traffic lights with super-efficient LED models. But what becomes of the old lights?

Greenlight diverts these beautiful red, green, and amber lenses from being tossed, and incorporates them into snazzy, modern lamps. They offer solutions for desk, pendant, and floor lighting, and they range from focused task lighting to smooth ambient. The bucket lamp series even comes with interchangeable lenses so you can set the color to match the mood.
