The Anemix :: 3D Effects Lighting System

OSRAM LED

TheANEMIX is a new lighting system that creates unique 3D effects in space.
It´s a panel composed by a luminescent and a reflective layer, which can be modified to create a wide range of visual effects.
The designers chose OSRAM LED technology to be the light source of this system, as it´s efficient, small and with a very low cost of manteinance. The glass-aluminium technology was developed by GLASSTECH, a specialized glazed Chilean company.
This modular system can also be customized. The tecnology used to make the shapes matrix and modular dimensions allows anyone to design their own Anemix. In this way and depending on the format and dimension, it can be used as object, as a comunication or mood light surface or as an architectural element.

Twister: LED Illuminated face

TITLE

Twister is a complete system which is ideal for illuminated face, reverse/halo or cove lighting. The low-profile, compact size and flexible design fits into small and medium channel letters and narrow coves.
Permlight’s patented thermal management technology uses the metal letter sign or a metal strip in a cove to dissipate heat away from the LED, resulting in useable life of 10 years. Twister is conformal coated to resist moisture and harsh exterior conditions. Twister’s wide beam viewing angle allows mounting on returns of channel letters or in shallow coves providing even illumination.
It’s safe, energy efficient and weather resistant conformal coating.
Twister is available in multiple colors.

Philips LED Technology

Philips LED bulb

LED technology is often heralded as the future of lighting - and for good reason. LEDs are easy to produce, generate very little heat, and are super energy efficient, using only one-eighth of the power of traditional bulbs and less than half that of fluorescent lights. Now our favorite avant-electronics company, Philips, has come out with some stunning new designs for interactive LED lightbulbs.

Inspired by the thought “Why couldn’t changing a room’s ambience be as simple as switching on the TV?’” Philips has come up with a variety of ways to adjust the color, brightness and tone of a bulb with simple, intuitive hand gestures, such as touching or twisting. The “Simplicty” LED bulbs are so nicely designed (with a wide variety of interesting shapes to choose from) that it eliminates the need for any sort of lamp covering.

These LED bulb designs are part of the larger Philips Sense & Simplicty design project, which the company haas been working on for the past year to demonstrate the power of simplicity-led design in driving innovation.

LED Grow Master - The Future of Plant Lighting

plant-led-light

Emitting 100% Plant-Absorbed-Light, LED Grow-Master Gro-Bars use a patented blend of LEDs, to produce only colors of light that plants need to grow.

Costing up to $135.00 per month to operate, high-wattage HID lighting systems produce only 25% visible light, the rest is invisible heat, and only ½ an HIDs visible light is actually absorbed by plants and used for photosynthesis.

“Plant Specific Lighting has much more to offer,” says Jonathan Cardinale, CEO of LED Grow-Master Global. “Eliminating wasted light (Green/Yellow) and heat (Infra-Red) make LED Grow-Master Gro-Bars the most efficient plant lighting systems on the market today, with 90% electrical savings, and 98% less heat, eliminating the need for large exaust fans.”

No Mercury, No Glass, No UV, and 7-10 years rated life make LED Grow-Master Lighting Systems the “Greenest” horticultural lighting available, facing the world’s energy crunch head-on, with efficiency.

Low voltage UL listed power supplies, and advance circuitry make these systems safe for kids and pets, opening the doors to classrooms, and home gardeners.

Using a patented and patent pending blend of LED colors designed and engineered by SolarOasis.

Production-ready Lumalive Textile Garments by Philips

philips

Philips Research intends to impress the visitors at this year’s IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) with a world-first demonstration of promotional jackets and furniture featuring its innovative Lumalive technology. Lumalive textiles make it possible to create fabrics that carry dynamic advertisements, graphics and constantly changing color surfaces. The Philips stand in Hall 22 will act as a showcase for the Lumalive textile products that will be worn by Philips’ hostesses and embedded into booth furniture of the Future Zone.

Lumalive fabrics feature flexible arrays of colored light-emitting diodes (LEDs) fully integrated into the fabric - without compromising the softness or flexibility of the cloth. These light emitting textiles make it possible to create materials that can carry dynamic messages, graphics or multicolored surfaces. Fabrics like drapes, cushions or sofa coverings become active when they illuminate in order to enhance the observer’s mood and positively influence his/her behavior.
